What sparked your interest in design?
Since I was little, my father taught me that creativity comes from necessity and encouraged me to solve problems by creating a product. It began during my industrial design career when I discovered a hidden passion for graphic design, especially packaging design.
What do you bring to the Studio123 dynamic?
What I bring to Studio123 is a cheerful attitude. I offer a fresh perspective with a hint of Caribbean influence, bringing a unique perspective from my experience as an industrial designer. My diverse background enables me to approach design from both practical and aesthetic viewpoints.
What skills are you hoping to develop in your new role at Studio123?
In this new role, I am eager to delve into the finer details and refine my critical thinking and creative skills. I believe that this position offers an excellent opportunity to nurture these key aspects of my work. My goal is to become an integral part of the team, drawing inspiration from the exceptional Studio123 team members and enjoying a fulfilling experience.
Do you have any favourite hobbies?
I love romance and adventure books, as they help me train my imagination by visualizing everything I read. I also enjoy taking pottery classes, a great way to relax and disconnect. The creative process of creating a new product, such as embroidery or screen printing, is a very exciting one for me.
What’s the last movie you saw? Was it awesome, or did it suck?
The last movie I watched was "Legally Blonde," and I found it entertaining! I've developed a newfound appreciation for older films.
You’re stranded on an island and only have 3 albums with you. What albums would they be?
