At Studio123, we are lucky enough to collaborate with all types of amazing people. From illustrators and videographers to developers and copywriters—our talent pool is bursting with awesome and inspiring individuals.
This month, we welcome two interns from Cambrian College’s Graphic Design Program to our studio. Aside from reviewing their impressive portfolios, we asked them six crucial questions to learn more about them. This is what they had to say.
CODY MARCOUX
Age: 24
What do you hope to learn through this internship?
I’m hoping to learn more about the industry as a whole, brush up on my client interaction skills, and to keep practicing my design skills.
Why did you choose Studio123?
I chose Studio123 because of their project diversity and because I’ve been a fan of the local work they have accomplished thus far. Plus, they have a turntable in the office! How cool is that?
Where you hope to be in 10 years?
I try not to plan too far ahead, but hopefully still in Sudbury, playing music and basking in our local culture. We really have a great place to call home here. I do plan on doing a little bit of travelling after school, so hopefully, that brings some exciting adventures as well.
Favourite hobbies?
Music, Video Games, Collecting (Vinyl & Retro video games)
Last movie you saw? Did it suck or was it awesome?
David Lynch’s Eraserhead. It was quite the ride, that’s for sure. I recommend it!
You’re stranded on an island and only have 3 albums with you. What albums would they be?

BRANDON FORDHAM
Age: 23
What do you hope to learn through this internship?
I am really interested in seeing how projects get started and finished, how the client mixes into the equation and how to make some of the cool motion graphics Studio123 is producing.
Why did you choose Studio123?
I felt like I wanted to be a part of Studio123 and the work they are doing. Each of the guys offers their own experience for me to learn from.
Where do you hope to be in 10 years?
Hopefully, I will be practicing graphic design, either on my own or for a firm.
Favourite hobbies?
In the little spare time I have, I enjoy watching movies with my girlfriend Angele (love you Angele!) and I enjoy driving standard cars. I am also known to jam out on the guitar every once and awhile.
Last movie you saw? Did it suck or was it awesome?
I watched the latest Star Trek movie the other night. Even for a second time, I thought it was awesome.
